15 seconds = sweet spot
Average mobile time on a listing is 28 seconds. Half of that goes to the video. 5 seconds is too short, 30 is too long; 15 seconds is ideal for three product highlights.
Scene order
0–3s: product reveal (unboxing or out-of-the-box). 3–8s: in-use moment (a real hand, real context). 8–13s: detail zoom (material, texture, label). 13–15s: logo + close frame.
Sound matters here
72% of Amazon videos are watched with sound (unlike TikTok). Soft background + optional voiceover lifts sales 8%.
